Michael graduated in 2019 from the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Biomolecular Engineering. As an undergraduate, he worked in the laboratory of Dr. Richard Taylor on the total synthesis of microtubule-stabilizing agents. Michael joined the Hergenrother laboratory in December of 2019 as an NIH Chemical-Biology Interface Training Program fellow.  Michael now works on target identification studies for small molecules with interesting biological activity.
