Kayla Landers graduated in 2021 from California State University, Long Beach with a major in Chemistry. During her time as an undergraduate, Kayla’s research focused on the synthesis of inhibitors of the enzyme butyrylcholinesterase as a potential treatment for Alzheimer’s Disease in Dr. Kensaku Nakayama’s lab. Kayla is a member of the antibacterial team.
