Welcome to the Health Equity and Action Lab!

We are a team of interdisciplinary psychology researchers led by Dr. Violeta Rodriguez and dedicated to understanding and addressing the mental health disparities faced by underserved and underrepresented youth and their families. Our research focuses on a variety of marginalized communities and aims to both identify factors driving these inequities and develop culturally responsive assessments and interventions to improve the mental health outcomes of youth and families.
