The Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is an interdisciplinary research institute devoted to leading-edge research in the physical sciences, computation, engineering, biology, behavior, cognition, and neuroscience.

The Illinois-NTU 2017 Global Issues Forum will take place primarily at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, located at the northern edge of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus, at 405 N Mathews Ave, Urbana, IL 61801. Beckman is within easy walking distance of the Illini Union Hotel, in the heart of “campustown” on Green Street in Urbana.
