Skype for Business will function as expected on your university computer from a remote location, as long as the internet connection is stable and high-capacity. You will need some sort of microphone and speakers. This can be your phone headset, smartphone headphones (with in-line mic), or a USB phone/speakerphone.
Skype for Business is available for mobile phones on both iOS and Android.
If your internet connection isn’t reliable, we suggest that you set your Skype for Business calls to ring simultaneously on your mobile phone so that you can use your mobile phone to connect to the Skype calls.
