We would like to invite you to attend a GESO Roundtable Meeting tomorrow at 11 AM in Yeh Center Room 3310. Food and refreshments will be provided.
The GeoPrediction student competition team (Navid Jafari and Aaron Leopold) will presenting their paper and competition results, which predict the groundwater table conditions at the time of a slope failure.
The second presentation will be by Alfonso Cerna-Díaz, who will be presenting the paper he and Prof. Olson submitted to GeoCongress, entitled “Comparison of Liquefaction Triggering Methods for Sloping Ground Using Two Flow Failures from the 2010 Haiti Earthquake.” Alfonso will be presenting this paper at GeoCongress next week.
