About the Summit

The Feeding Champaign County Food Summit, scheduled for Tuesday, April 16, invites folks from all areas of food access and security to address challenges and design solutions to better understand the complexities of Champaign County’s food system.

During the summit we aim to reinvigorate a county-wide discussion about food access and security through learning about what works, what needs support, and what is missing from our food system.

Together we will collaborate to create strategies to best address barriers in supporting food access and security.

The Feeding Champaign County Food Summit is hosted by Healthy Champaign County, Sola Gratia Farm, Champaign-Urbana Public Health District, United Way of Champaign County, Campus-Community Compact to Accelerate Social Justice, The Land Connection, OSF Heart of Mary Hospital, University of Illinois Extension, National Farm to School Network, and the Siebel Center for Design.
