Our galaxy and its neighbor are being pulled toward one another by their mutual gravitational attraction, the precursor for a cosmic collision of unfathomable scale. Black holes spiral around each other and merge, sending ripples through spacetime across vast regions of emptiness. The universe is full of dramatic, complex events comparable to the dramas of everyday life. In this piece, the artists create a window into these cinematic cosmic events, tangibly hovering within reach, set to the reimagined sounds of the Earth’s magnetosphere.
