We are interested in working with highly motivated students interested in studies of catalytic mechanisms and the design of improved catalytic materials. Well-prepared students will have undergraduate training in Chemical Engineering, other engineering disciplines, or Chemistry and prior experimental experience (although not necessarily in catalysis or surface science). We have funded projects for up to 3 new graduate students joining in Fall 2020 and space for additional self-funded students. Interested students should contact Dave and are welcome to attend our group meetings on Friday afternoons at 3 pm (email Dave for link and password).
Interested candidates should contact Dave about possible projects that would begin in Winter 2020. Candidates should include a cover letter, complete CV, and contact information for three references.
We do not have any open positions available for undergraduate researchers as of 10/08/2019. Please check back periodically for future openings.
Interested undergraduates, please email Dave in the next three weeks and include the following: 1) a cover letter explaining your interest in our group, 2) a current resume including prior research and work experiences, and 3) a copy of your transcript. A GPA of at least 3.5 is preferred.
Undergraduate researchers spend a minimum of 12 hours per week working diligently in the lab.
