Open Positions

Graduate Students

We are interested in working with highly motivated students interested in studies of catalytic mechanisms and the design of improved catalytic materials. Well-prepared students will have undergraduate training in Chemical Engineering, other engineering disciplines, or Chemistry and prior experimental experience (although not necessarily in catalysis or surface science). We have several funded projects for graduate students joining in Fall 2022. Interested students who have been admitted should contact Dave to learn more.

Post-Doctoral Researchers

Interested candidates should contact Dave about possible projects that would begin in Spring 2022.  Candidates should include a cover letter, complete CV, and contact information for three references.

Undergraduate Students

We do not have any open positions available for undergraduate researchers as of 01/03/2022. Please check back periodically for future openings.

If you would like to be considered for future openings, please email Dave and include the following: 1) a cover letter explaining your interest in our group, 2) a current resume including prior research and work experiences, and 3) a copy of your transcript. A GPA of at least 3.5 is preferred.

Undergraduate researchers spend a minimum of 12 hours per week working diligently in the lab.
