Planning to Work this Fall?
If finding a part-time job is on your to-do list when you return to campus in a few weeks, you can start now. Don’t let it just be about the money. The money matters, of course, but your part-time job can also be a way to get experience, develop your skills, and learn more about your professional strengths.
- A lot of offices and organizations around campus are already advertising their fall part-time positions on the Virtual Job Board. We curate some of these opportunities–the ones that mesh particularly well with English and CW majors skills and career paths–on this website.
- Consider an internship! Some of them pay as well as part-time jobs.
- Register for the Design+ Part-Time Career Fair, which will take place Sept. 14. 6:30pm – 8pm in the Illini Union.
