Hotel Rooms
The ECEC26 conference committee has a block of rooms held at the I Hotel for the evenings of April 27-28, 2026, at a rate of $159 plus tax per night. Book online using the Group/Block Code: ECEC2026 and Guest Password: 7CYv# or call 217-819-5000 and give the block code. The room block is open until March 26, 2026.
Other hotels within walking distance to the conference include the Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites by Hilton Champaign/Urbana and Holiday Inn Champaign.
Conference Space
The in person part of ECEC26 will be at the I Hotel and Conference Center located at 1900 South First Street, Champaign, IL, 61820. The conference will take place in the Illinois Ballroom and the Humanities Room, which is across the hall from the Illinois Ballroom. Restrooms are located next to the Humanities room. There is free parking at the I Hotel and Conference Center.
Conference Center access:
- From the Parking Lot: The closest entrance to the conference rooms is from the North Entrance.
- From the Hotel Lobby: Go straight past the elevators and through the double doors to the conference center. Turn left into the hall between the Alma Mater Room and Leadership Boardroom. Turn left again when you see the conference center’s desk and the double doors to the North Entrance.
Note: The conference rooms at the I Hotel can be chilly. We recommend you dress in layers for comfort. Dress code for this conference is casual.
