Carolyn Foley – Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant

Carolyn FoleyCarolyn Foley has been with Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant since 2010. She is the main contact for the funded research program, and collaborates on research and outreach across the Great Lakes basin. Carolyn received a BSc in biology from the University of Windsor and an MS in entomology from Purdue University. She is actively publishing her work and her peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Science of the Total Environment and the Canadian Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences.

Dana Kolpin – US Geological Survey

Dana KolpinDana Kolpin is a research hydrologist for the USGS in Iowa City, IA. His research interests include the fate and effects of environmental contaminants and has published over 190 papers on this topic. He was project chief of the USGS Toxic Program’s Contaminants of Emerging Concern in the Environment Project through its entire duration (1998-2017). He is now the lead of the newly formed “Food” Project within the Toxics Program.

Linda Lee – Purdue University

Linda LeeLinda S. Lee is a professor in the Purdue University Department of Agronomy; Program Head for the Ecological Sciences & Engineering Interdisciplinary Graduate Program; and a Faculty Affiliate in the Division of Environmental Ecological Engineering. She joined the faculty at Purdue in 1993 after completing a BS (Chemistry), MS (Environmental Engineering) and PhD (Soil chemistry & Contaminant hydrology, Soil & Water Sciences Dept.) at the University of Florida.

Dan Villeneuve – US Environmental Protection Agency

Dan Villeneuve

Daniel L. Villeneuve is a research toxicologist with the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Research and Development (ORD). He received a BS in Water Resources and Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a Ph.D. in Zoology and Environmental Toxicology from Michigan State University. He has over 20 years of experience conducting freshwater ecotoxicology research.

Diana YatesDiana Yates is a research editor for the U. of I. News Bureau. She writes about living organisms, their biology, ecology, evolutionary history, health and psychological problems.
