Nicole became interested in the swine industry when she started showing pigs for 4-H and FFA.  In high school, she began working at a 1400 head farrow-to-wean sow facility to understand daily tasks in a production setting. Nicole was introduced to the Ellis Lab Program in the Summer of 2018 when she interned with The Maschhoffs.  She enjoyed the applied research approach to the program and hopes to further her skills and continue improving the industry.
