The DVH Group celebrated Dale’s retirement from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign after 41 years of work. Friends and colleagues within the Physics Department gathered for a lively reception.

Gilbert Arias attended the 2019 Inclusive Graduate Education Network (IGEN) National Meeting at the University of Central Florida. He presented a poster GSP5: “Tracking the motion of Majorana Bound States attached to Josephson Vortices in S/TI/S Junctions”.

Congratulations to David Hamilton for defending his thesis “Exploring Exotic Superconducting Order in La-Based Cuprate Materials Using Josephson Interferometry”.
