Outreach
Our K-12 outreach program has been translating the DF educational materials and program to levels that can be disseminated more broadly to a younger audience and the general public. We have been developing curricula for pre-college students that address photo forensics, email phishing, encryption, and safe passwords.
Some examples of materials that the DF effort helped to develop include the following:
- Computer Science booklet from the 2014 Girls’ Adventures in Mathematics, Engineering, and Science (G.A.M.E.S.) camp.
- Computer Science booklet from the 2016 Girls’ Adventures in Mathematics, Engineering, and Science (G.A.M.E.S.) camp.
- Slide deck introducing young people to Steganography.
