Computational Design Innovation Laboratory

The Camputational Design Innovation Lab is located on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  The campus is home to Blue Waters, one of the world’s most powerful supercomputers and the fastest supercomputer on a university Campus.  The group also maintains a space in the Aerospace Engineering Department’s Composites Manufacturing Laboratory.  This laboratory consists of 1600 sq ft of space that houses extensive experimental and manufacturing facilities, which we use to prototype and test our designs.  These facilities include our state-of-the-art Connex3 Polyjet 3D printer with multi-material and digital material printing capabilities.
