  1. Call to Order – Allie Arp called the meeting to order at 1:15.
  2. Guest Speaker: Provost Andreas Cangellaris
    • Provost Cangellaris shared appreciation for all we do, updates on return to work and AP policies, and updates on the summer and fall semester.

    • May 2021 approved unanimously

    • Allie welcomed all new CAP representatives and invited them to get involved on committees. Thank you to current representatives for continued work.

  1. CAP Committee Reports
    • Recruitment and Retention: Allie Arp
      • To be further discussed at a future meeting
    • Ad Hoc SAC/CAP Common Interest Areas: Brent West
      • Meetings will be held  with IHR and recently converted civil service professionals to better understand the process and impacts.
      • If anyone who has been converted would like to comment, contact Brent West
    • Ad Hoc Committee on Bylaws: Jayesh Patel
      • Still waiting on feedback from HR. After that is finalized will bring forward for a committee vote.
    • Outreach Committee: Allie Arp
      • July – marketing and branding office will present
      • August – return to campus plans
      • Mindy met today with Robbie Witt regarding pay equity issues. A member of HR will be invited to a future meeting to discuss this issue. Invite to a future CAP meeting.
    • Officer Nominating Committee: Allie Arp
      • CAP representatives received a slate of nominations and voted during the meeting on officers.
    • Procedures and Elections Committee: Allie Arp
      • There is still an opening for district 1. Nominations are being sought.
    • Public Safety Advisory Committee: Brian Brauer
      • Completed the review. Findings have been shared with local police departments
    • Special Events Advisory Committee: Brian Brauer
      • Continuing work for event portal.
    • University Professional Personnel Advisory Committee: Brian Brauer/Mindy Spencer
      • Meet last month to learn how to better share information among the campuses
  1. Academic Human Resources Report Senior Associate Chancellor for Human Resources
    • Elyne is retiring at the end of June. She had technical issues and was not able to connect. Deb Stone shared that she has enjoyed working with CAP and appreciates the work we do.
