We are an active member of the Central Illinois Animal Welfare Coalition, and also co-advise the Illinois Student Chapter of the Association of Shelter Veterinarians.

Through our involvement with the Alliance For Contraception in Cats & Dogs and the Found Animals Foundation, we support efforts to expedite the successful introduction of humane, non-surgical methods of population control for cats and dogs worldwide.

The Companion Animals Club is a student organization that promotes the enjoyment of companion animals through community involvement, volunteerism, and social events.

Teacher 4 Creatures Club

The Teachers 4 Creatures is a student organization is dedicated to educating and interacting with the local community in order to increase knowledge about companion animals. We have 5 committees in our club that focus ondifferent aspects in the companion animal field, which include Anti-Breed Discrimination, Puppy Mill Education, Exotic Animals, Animal Assisted Activities, and Feline Overpopulation.
