The Companion Animal Program began in 1974 and has grown into one of the most comprehensive programs of its kind serving students, both undergraduate and graduate, our industrial partners and the public at large through teaching, research and outreach activities.

Today we are comprised of two main branches: Companion Animal Biology and Humane Education (I CABHE), and Companion Animal Nutrition (I CAN)
