Giving to CLACS

Help support Latin America-focused programming by including CLACS in your year-end giving. You can donate to CLACS here.

For over 50 years, CLACS has made the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign a leader in Latin American and Caribbean Studies through high-impact programming on campus and beyond.  CLACS has helped to train generations of leaders in academia, business, and politics.  Our students and alumni are engaged in work that addresses challenges ranging from access to health care for indigenous women, to issues surrounding child labor and human rights, to economic development and environmental sustainability.  CLACS alumni have achieved success at the highest levels of national and international business and government, holding positions in the US Department of Labor, United Nations, Central Banks of Argentina and Brazil, and the presidency of Ecuador. Through our symposia, lecture series, film festival, and other outreach programs we connect with thousands of people annually: students and faculty at UIUC and regional community colleges, K-12 teachers and their classrooms, and communities throughout Illinois.

Your gift will help us continue to offer critical programming focused on Latin America and to support cutting-edge research and teaching by our students and faculty, the impact of which will extend far beyond campus.

Please support CLACS by making a financial contribution to either to our Annual Gift Fund or to the Moyano Fund.  Donations of any size—whether a one-time gift or a monthly payroll deduction—will help ensure the continuation of vital programming, teaching, and research on Latin America.  Making a donation online is simple: go directly to the University of Illinois Foundation and select your method of donation (online, mail, or by electronic transfer).

We thank you in advance for your generosity and your support for the Center for Latin American and the Caribbean!
