For the December LSO Meeting we highlighted a highly requested topic, the disposal of unknown waste. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Thanks to everyone for attending the November LSO Meeting! We discussed how to report incidents to DRS and outlined the navigation and usage of DRS website resources.

We reviewed a toxic gas incident that occurred in a fume hood during the October LSO Meeting. Fume hood safe work practices and compressed gas safety were discussed accordingly. Thanks to all in attendance!

During the September LSO Meeting we reviewed a needle stick incident and an incident involving a chemical splash in the eye. We also discussed the maintenance of laboratory emergency equipment. Thanks to all who attended!

Thanks to all who attended the August LSO Meeting! During this meeting we reviewed a hazardous waste mixing near miss and discussed chemical compatibility best practices. Also, Shad Barker from DRS presented about changes to the Jerrican Program Online Submission Form.
