Natalie is a third year doctoral student in Education, Policy, Organization and Leadership in Global Studies and Philosophy of Education. She is interested in theorizing the relationship between contemplative practices, especially meditation, and ethical attitudes. Her current research focuses on Buddhist ethics, with a comparative aspect involving Indian, Confucian, and Platonic thought. She is the co-founder and President of the Meditation Student Organization at UIUC.
