Michelle is an undergraduate student studying Education Policy and Arabic. She is interested in refugee-centered education initiatives, where men, women, and children can receive education that combats economic and social determinism, in both countries of conflict and resettlement locations. She is studying Arabic to better understand the experiences and narratives of refugees fleeing from Arab countries, such as Syria, Palestine, and Iraq.
