Biography

Ken is a senior with a double major in Global Studies and Spanish and a minor in Portuguese.  Within his major, he specializes in Governance and Conflict Resolution and he is also pursuing the ACDIS Certificate in Global Security.  He is very interested in domestic politics, immigration, and human rights, and hopes to work in one of those fields upon graduation.  He studied abroad in Quito, Ecuador for the Fall 2013 semester and, more recently, studied during the Winter of 2014-2015 in Amman, Jordan, doing research on the refugee crisis in the region.  Last Spring, he worked as a Writing Intern at The Borgen Project, which is a non-profit that helps to increase foreign aid.  After graduation, he hopes to go to law school and eventually work in immigration law while utilizing both his Spanish and Portuguese language abilities.
