Eva Kuras is a graduate student in Comparative Literature. She is currently working on the connections between French, Italian and English medieval romance literature and Persian classical literature, focusing in particular on the influence of Varqeh o-Golshah on the many European variations of the Fleur et Blanchefleur legend. She will spend the academic year 2017-2018 at the University of Chicago to focus on improving her Persian language skills as well as deepening her knowledge of medieval Persian literature and history.
