Introduction

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is host to a number of single-day and multi-day conferences related to eLearning and quality Teaching & Learning in general. Many of these experiences are free or require a nominal registration cost.

Faculty Retreat

The Faculty Retreat is a one-day conference historically held at the Illini Union held early in the Spring semester. In addition to pre and post-conference workshops, the event features a number of faculty presenters reporting on their efforts to innovate and transform student learning.

In the video, “Food Science and Human Nutrition Faculty Retreat Grant,” Professor Candace Martinez, from the BADM department of Gies Business, describes her collaboration with Professor Dawn Bohn, from the department of FSHN, in developing an innovative Teaching & Learning project.

The program for the 2019 Retreat is available.
