About me:

Hello everyone~ My name is Brenda Kim, and I am a sophomore majoring in MCB and minoring in Spanish on the pre-dental track. I am from Northbrook, IL and I went to Glenbrook North High School.

At UIUC, I am involved in:

MEDLIFE – It’s a student organization that works to improve medicine, education, and development for low income families everywhere. There are a lot of service opportunities as well as mentoring from other pre-health upperclassmen.
Kappa Phi Lambda – It’s an asian-interest sorority on campus! Our philanthropies are sisterhood, service, and cultural diversity. This is an organization that helped me stay close to my own culture, and I met so many amazing people through KPL.

My hobbies/interests:

Outside of UIUC, I love spending my time baking, watching movies, and hanging out with my friends. Something new that I want to try these days is crocheting, which I hope I will start soon. So far, my favorite UIUC memory is going to the Main Quad with my friends to watch the solar eclipse.
