The University of Illinois WordPress Theme Team and the Website Implementation Guidelines Group are pleased to announce the release of version 2.4.0 of the University of Illinois WordPress Theme. This has automatically been applied to sites running on Publish.illinois.edu (PIE) and users on cPanel or hosting on their own can update as soon as they like.

Version 2.4.0 of the University of Illinois WordPress theme includes:

• New Statistic Block
• New Lede Block
• New Featured Quote Block
• Addresses several PHP warning/notices
• Update to version 2.15 of the Illinois toolkit
• Upgraded bundled ACF Pro to 6.1.6 (ACF changelog)
