The next scheduled maintenance for Publish.Illinois.edu will take place on March 25th, 2026 starting at 10pm. During this maintenance cycle, supported plugins will be updated and general service improvements will be made. The Publish service will be upgraded to WordPress version 6.9.4.
We recommend that you test the changes on your site(s) in our Publish test environment before 03/25/26! – The Test-Publish environment has been updated to include the changes that are set to occur on 03/25/26. You can preview these changes, as they will appear in Production-Publish, now by visiting Test.Publish.Illinois.edu (VPN connection required). Note: the Test-Publish environment was synced with data from 03/06/2026.
