The Publish.Illinois.edu service underwent a scheduled maintenance period on 01/21/26. During the maintenance period, the Publish service was upgraded to WordPress version 6.9. Plugins were updated, version 3.0.3 of the University of Illinois theme was added, and additional general service improvements were implemented.
The next maintenance for Publish.Illinois.edu is tentatively scheduled for February 18, 2026. We’ll share more information closer to the date.
