I’m a professor of Astronomy and of Physics at the University of Illinois.
I study the big bang, exploding stars, and high energy particles from space.
I also have the privilege of teaching excellent undergraduate and graduate students.
My worldline passes through Williams College, and the University of Chicago. I also had the good fortune to spend time at (well, near) Notre Dame and at Notre Dame, and at Zimmy’s alma mater.
