Doug_JonesDouglas L. Jones

Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Coordinated Science Laboratory. Prof. Jones is a Fellow of the IEEE. His research interests are in digital signal processing and communications, including nonstationary signal analysis, adaptive filters, beamforming, biologically inspired signal processing, low-power wireless communication and advanced hearing aids.

Shengkui_ZhaoShengkui Zhao

Research Scientist at the Advanced Digital Sciences Center and holds a joint appointment with the Coordinated Science Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. from the School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2009. His research interests include 3D audio, 3D sound source localization, beamforming and speech enhancement, acoustic source mapping, acoustic event detection and classification.

Cagdas Tuna

Cagdas Tuna began as a postdoctoral researcher at the Advanced Digital Sciences Center in October 2014. He is working with ADSC Director Doug Jones on the Acoustic Event Detection, Classification and Analysis project.

 


Nguyen_Thi_Ngoc_ThoNguyen Thi Ngoc Tho

Software engineer at the Advanced Digital Sciences Center with research interests in sound source localization and array signal processing. She received her ME and BE degree in Electrical Engineering in 2010 and 2012, from the Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia.
