Application now open for Girls’ Astronomy Summer Camp 2017

We are exited to announce that application is now open for the 2017 Girls’ Astronomy Summer Camp!

This summer camp for high school girls (entering grades 9 to 12) will be focused on hands-on astronomy projects and learning about real-life research experience as women in science.

Camp highlights include watching 3D science movies in the NCSA visualization lab, working with scientist on real data in campus computer labs, visiting the University of Illinois observatory (a historical landmark), talking to women astrophysicists about their research!!!

Dates & times: July 31 & August 1, 9 am to 5 pm (Lunch is included.)
