Registration/Housing

The Electromagnetics Laboratory of the University of Illinois and the Electrical Engineering Department of Penn State University invite all interested parties to attend a two and one-half day symposium devoted to antenna design, analysis, applications and associated systems. The Antenna Applications Symposium will be held at Robert Allerton Park near Monticello, Illinois, a rural community about twenty-five miles southwest of Urbana-Champaign. Registration

You may register on-line using the link above. Your registration should reach us no later than August 15, 2024. Regular registration TBD, student registration TBD, virtual registration TBD. A late fee will apply after August 15. Regular registration late TBD, student registration late TBD. All attendees, including those who commute to the symposium must register.

Cancellation Policy: Registration fees paid by those unable to attend will be refunded, except for a $75 service charge, only if cancellation notice is received at least 2 weeks prior to the opening of the conference.

Housing

Limited housing is available at Robert Allerton Park in the original mansion, Allerton House; the Gate House, about 100 meters from Allerton House; motel rooms in Evergreen Lodge near Allerton House; and the House in the Woods about 0.5km from Allerton House. We will try to honor your request for on-site room location, but rooms will be assigned as available. Room rates range from $90 to $150 per day. Room charges are subject to state tax. Rooms will be available after 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16 with checkout time 11:00 am on the morning of departure. Visa and Master Card are accepted for lodging.

Free Wi-Fi at all Allerton Buildings

Guests and attendees may request a temporary ID/password to use the on-site Wi-Fi. If you require special services such as VPN or remote access, please see the attached information and/or contact Allerton House (217-333-3287) prior to arrival to determine if your requested services are available.

Meals

Meals are included in the conference fee. These meals will be served in the Allerton House dining room.

Local Transportation

Transportation is not provided; a rental vehicle or taxi will be necessary.

Hotels in the Champaign-Urbana Area

Hotels in Monticello are approximately 5 miles from the Conference Center. Numerous hotels are located in Champaign-Urbana, approximately 30 miles from the Conference Center. Daily transportation to/from hotels will not be provided; a rental vehicle will be necessary.
