2024 SUMMIT CUP TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
(All Times Below are in Mountain Time)
Wednesday, October 2
- 10am – Host witness contact information sent (one host witness provided to each team by DU, and each team must also provide one witness)
- 6pm – Zoom Coaches Meeting – Sides assigned randomly for Round 1, Plus Discussion of Any Questions/Issues
Thursday, October 3
- 4:00pm – Teams may begin arriving at the Jefferson County Courthouse
- Please note that the courtrooms may still be in use, and you will have to wait for court to conclude before setting up (they should all be done by 5pm)
- 5:00pm – Coaches Meeting (short – just to touch base)
- 6:00pm – Round 1 Starts
Friday, October 4
- 11:30am – Teams may begin arriving at the Jefferson County Courthouse
- Please note that the courtrooms may still be in use, and you will have to wait for court to conclude before setting up (they should all be done by 12pm)
- 1:00pm – Round 2 Starts
- 4:15pm (or so) – Dinner provided
- 6:00pm – Round 3 Starts
Saturday, October 5
- 8:00am – Teams may begin arriving at the Jefferson County Courthouse
- 9:30am – Round 4 Starts
- Finalists announced as soon as all teams have finished, and scores tabulated
- 12:15pm (or so) – Lunch provided
- 2:00pm (or so) – Championship Round Starts (depending on timing of earlier rounds – note that it could be an earlier start if possible)
- 6:00pm to 7:30pm – Awards Ceremony at (Location TBD)
- Appetizers and two drink tickets per person
*Note that snacks and bottled water will be provided throughout the competition
