The third round will be power protected within bracket without regard to side constraints. This means the field will be divided into two brackets: the top 4 teams and the bottom 4 teams. The top team in each of those brackets will hit the bottom team in the bracket.
ROUND 4 / 9:00 AM / SATURDAY / NOVEMBER 11
The fourth round will be the same, except teams must go the opposite side. Given the small field and same school matchups, this will probably be a mess. But we will give it our best shot. We will prioritize (1) having each team go twice on both sides of the case, (2) avoiding same school matchups, (3) attempting to have the most competitive two teams meet in the finals—in that order.
CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND / 1:00 PM / SATURDAY / NOVEMBER 11
The participants in the championship round will be determined based on the following criteria in the order presented: (1) rounds won, (2) prior matchup, (3) ballots won, (3)
point differential, (4) total points. Side will be determined by a coin flip.
