Ali Momen-Heravi

Ali Momen-Heravi, M.Sc., M.Arch., EDAC, is a doctoral candidate, researcher, and the president of the Society for Evidence-Based Architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His interest includes emerging housing typologies, evidence-based design, healthcare architecture, and translation of credible research linking the built environment and human health into architectural design policies and practices. Momen-Heravi is an active member of the Center for Health Design (CHD) and the co-chair of the Residential Environments Network (REN) at the Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA). With a focus on enhancing quality of life for the aging population, his dissertation research addresses the challenges in architectural research and practice for designing healthy residential environments in the age of Anthropocene.
