This year, our undergraduate students went virtual for the Undergraduate Research Symposium. Thankful for all of the efforts from the Office of Undergraduate Research who made this year’s virtual symposium possible so that students could present their research! A big congratulations to our seniors, Tess O’Brien (’19), Lauren Broderick (’20), and Jordan Halic (’20) on their research presentations! Above are the posters they presented.

Tianying presenting her master’s thesis at the HDFS Colloquium, Graduate Student Spotlight on February 7. Her thesis manuscript was recently accepted for publication in the Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology! Congratulations, Tianying on two wonderful accomplishments! Keep an eye out for her publication, entitled “Linking parental monitoring and psychological control with internalizing symptoms in early adolescence: The moderating role of vagal tone.”

2019

Monisha (’21), an ACES Summer Research Intern in Summer 2019, presented her independent research project, “The Association between Media Usage and Well-Being among Adolescents”, at the ACES Summer Internship Poster Session on September 23.
