Medical Marijuana Inc. is a company owned by a group of people who have bought stock shares, but it’s also the first company to publicly invest in legal cannabis and hemp. Medical Marijuana Inc. is heavily invested in companies that are focused on marijuana and hemp research, agriculture, development and distribution supporting the growth of the industry. It’s clear that Medical Marijuana Inc. fully supports the legalization of medical marijuana and put a lot of time, money and effort into new studies to support their belief or thesis. The author has research and statistics that prove their thesis to be correct and contains a strong biased about the topic. Medical Marijuana Inc. is very biased when it comes to supporting medical marijuana and doesn’t contain any information on how marijuana could affect you in the long run; this is because they support the expansion of medical marijuana and invest a great deal of money into that. Their company is dedicated to the research of medical marijuana and the benefits it could bring to people’s lives.
The U.S News and World Report released an article about an experiment that proves common marijuana statements to be incorrect. The experiment was done on twins and over a long period of time, one twin smoked marijuana and the other did not. The findings showed that there is no difference between the twins in terms of how their IQ changed. A decline in IQ could happen for many reasons including family issues and emotional trauma. This leads to the usage of marijuana, alcohol and other recreational drugs at an earlier age. In this article, they describe recreational marijuana usage as a red flag to parents and not the cause of IQ decline. The article is informative and doesn’t state a clear bias but it quotes the researcher to be biased. Most people associate marijuana with the cause of decreased intelligence, reduced memory and lower verbal ability but after this study, it proves to not be the only link.
