Housing

The workshop will be held at the Newman Center on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Newman Hall 

This air-conditioned student residence is operated by St. John’s Catholic Newman Center, and is certified by the University of Illinois. Newman Hall is in the center of campus, one block from the main quad and across the street from the University Library. Newman Hall is staffed 24 hours a day by hall monitors. The front doors are locked from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. Only residents and authorized visitors are allowed access.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided in the Newman Dining Hall. Snacks are provided during breaks. The first meal provided is dinner on Sunday, June 8; the last meal provided is lunch on Friday, June 13. Many food options are available, including fresh fruits, a salad bar, and hot entrees. There are always vegetarian options. If you have food allergies, please note them on the Medical Form; special dietary needs will be relayed to the Newman Food Division staff.
