Jae’da Thompson  (she/her) is a senior in the Department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences with a concentration in Health Diversity. She is interested in the different ways environment and circumstance affect the African American family. She wants to explore how mental health is perceived within the African American family and the societal pressures that have shaped this perception. Jae’da plans to attend Medical School after graduating and wants to practice Psychiatry.
