Below is a list of frequently asked questions about 360° Sports and Entertainment Camp. If your question isn’t answered below, please feel free to email media-summercamp@illinois.edu or call 217-244-4329.

Does the registration feel include room and board?
Yes, the registration fee covers all costs of camp. There will be no additional fees.

What is the ratio of campers to staff?
We will have at least 1 resident assistant (RA) for every 10 campers. RAs will stay in the dorm on the same floor as the campers. There will also be College of Media faculty and staff present throughout the day assisting campers and facilitating various sessions.

Are there different types of camp?

There are two tracks within the camp – sports and entertainment. All of the camp sessions will be related to media and will lead toward sports media or entertainment media. An interest survey will be sent out asking campers to choose sessions of interest. Based on the the results of the survey, we’ll create a personalized schedule for each camper.

Can I choose my roommate?

Yes. The interest survey will include a question about roommate selection. You are able to choose your roommate if you want. If you don’t want to, we will randomly assign you a roommate of your same gender for the week.

Are there scholarships available?

The College of Media has some scholarships available for students to attend 360° Sports & Entertainment Camp. The scholarship application and more information can be found at https://go.illinois.edu/CampScholarship. Scholarship applications were due Sunday, April 21.
