The 2017 CREDC Summer School will take place at the Q Center, an executive retreat center in St. Charles, Illinois. Located on a 95-acre wooded property on the Fox River, the Q Center is just a 45-minute drive from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
A limited number of on-site rooms are available at the Q Center. Participants should secure their on-site accommodations using the Q Center reservation portal provided for this event. Student Program applicants should wait to reserve a room until after notification. Participants lodging at the Q Center will be provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner during their stay. Lunch will be provided for commuters and participants choosing off-site lodging accommodations. Other meals are offered for a fee.

Room Block/Rate Guarantee Deadline: May 19

Rate: $169/night plus taxes for an Executive Room, single occupancy. Includes one queen-sized bed. Please also see our FAQs for more information. Q Center lodging includes three meals per day in Q dining rooms; access to Q Center’s Recreation Areas/Equipment, Fitness Center, and some amenities/activities at no additional charge. Day Pass: If you are lodging off-site, you will need to reserve a Q Center day pass (no fee/credit card required). Day pass reservations must be made by June 5. Lunch and snack breaks are included with your day pass at Q Center.
Access Code: the Q Center lodging reservation portal will request an access code that will be provided to you with your paid registration (confirmation screen and confirmation email). Contact csoliday@illinois.edu with questions about access codes.
Reservation Deadline: Rooms must be reserved by May 19, 2017 May 26, 2017 via the Q Center reservation portal. Day Pass reservations must be made by June 5 via the Q Center reservation portal. A credit card will be required to secure a room reservation (but not for a Day Pass). Student Program applicants should not try to secure a room at this time and should wait until further direction provided in notification letters.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to limited availability of Q Center lodging, all Q Center lodging or day pass reservations for the CREDC Summer School must be supported by an accompanying summer school registration. Those not supported by a summer school registration after May 17, 2017 are subject to cancellation.
Cancellation Deadline/Policy for Q Center Lodging: No shows and cancellations after May 19, 2017 will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
