Kailen Shantz wins research award

ELP Lab grad student Kailen Shantz has won the Chin W. Kim Research Award for outstanding research work as a graduate student in the UIUC Department of Linguistics. In his three years here so far, he has authored or co-authored 2 peer-reviewed journal articles, a peer-reviewed conference proceedings from a highly prestigious language acquisition conference (BUCLD), and co-authored a book chapter on ERPs and bilingualism with Kara Federmeier and colleagues.  Congrats Kailen!
