Congrats to Newest White Belt & White Belt Testing

Monday Motivational Quote

Adding on to Saturday’s contemplation of “chamber your kick high even when your target is low.” Think about this Monday motivational quote from Aristotle, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a habit.”

Congratulations & White Belt Testing

Help me to congratulate our newest white belt Mrinal Gautam!
Starting the week of September 20th the last 10 minutes of class will be reserved for any new student that wished to take a white belt test. The white belt test is a brief physical test followed by questions. If you are a new student and feel you can comfortable demonstrate the first form Chun Gi and know the school rules and Korean exercise counting then you are ready to take the white belt test.
Arriving Late – Perform the Late Warm-up Sequence
If you do arrive late to TKD class (after the class has finished the initial jumping jacks) please perform the late warm-up sequence, bow in, and join the class. The late warm-up sequence is 50 jumping jacks, 50 push-ups, 50 sit-ups, and 50 leg lifts. It is extremely important to warm up the body before beginning kicking drills and martial arts training.
