White Belt Testing Opportunities
Starting the week of February 10th the last 10 minutes of class for any new student that wishes to take a white belt test. The white belt test is a brief physical test that will take place at the end of a regularly scheduled class and be followed with questions. If you feel you comfortably know Chun Gi (first form), the school rules, and the Korean counting/terminology then you are ready to take the white belt test. After new students pass the white belt test they have the opportunity to purchase a uniform for $18.
Arriving Late – Perform the Late Warm-up Sequence
If you do arrive late to TKD class (after the class has finished the initial jumping jacks) please perform the late warm-up sequence, bow in and join the class. The late warm-up sequence is 50 jumping jacks, 50 push-ups, 50 sit-ups, and 50 leg lifts. It is extremely important to warm-up the body before beginning kicking drills and martial arts training.
