Transfering to MCB from Another LAS Major  on the Urbana Campus

Current Illinois undergraduates, in an LAS major, who wish to change their major to MCB (or declare as a second major) must first obtain written approval from a MCB advisor before processing the request in the LAS Student Academic Affairs office.

To obtain written approval interested students should attend one of our MCB  informational meetings offered during a curriculum change period.

October information meetings are offered at the following times:

Friday, October 16, 4:00 PM

Monday, October 19, 9:30 AM

Thursday, October 22, 1:00 PM

Friday, October 23, 9:30 AM

Monday, October 26, 4:00 PM

Thursday, October 29, 3:00 PM

Friday, October 30, 9:30 AM

Students who are unable to attend an informational meeting will be required to make an appointment with an advisor in order to obtain the required paperwork for transfer. Intercollegiate Transfers, ICT

Current Illinois undergraduates who wish to ICT into the College of LAS and declare MCB as a major, must first attend an LAS information session, apply online and meet with an MCB advisor for approval. To meet with an MCB advisor, prospective ICT students can attend one of our MCB informational meetings or make an individual appointment with an advisor.  For general information on suggested courses to take prior to transferring please refer to our MCB Prospective Student Guide.
