The lecture version of CHLH 206: Human Sexuality (CRN 31158) is a full-semester 2 credit hour course that meets TR 11-11:50 a.m. in Noyes 100.

CHLH 206 presents a broad perspective on a variety of human sexuality topics.  Content areas include sexuality through the lifespan, sexual health, reproduction and contraception, variations in sexual behavior, gender roles, and sexual communication.  Sensitive issues regarding sexuality will be discussed in depth, and students will demonstrate respect for a diverse range of opinions.

The course uses a community-based health education approach to introduce students to the aforementioned topics, as well as a variety of guest speakers from local and national organizations. Students will research community agencies and attend local sexuality education events in lieu of traditional exams.

The lecture version of CHLH 206 is distinct from the online version of the course.

CHLH 206: Human Sexuality is an ideal course for all college students, regardless of age or degree track, and is often referred to as a favorite among students who complete the course.
