Prospective Group Members

If you are interested in working with us, please send an email to Dr.Cha and include your CV and a brief description of your research interests and goals. Please use “Application to GRA openings in R4 Group” in your email subject. Prof. Cha is in the Structural Engineering group and the Societal Risk Management program in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The R4 group welcomes applications from students who have background and interest in applied probability and statistics, structural reliability and risk assessment, systems analysis, hazard and disaster modeling, and risk communication. Students from other department are also very welcomed to the group.

Potential group members must also apply to the graduate program of the University of Illinois. Application information for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering can be found here.
