Poster Requirements

Poster Requirements

  1. You must print your own poster. We will not print it for you. However,  bulletin boards and push pins will be provided for hanging your poster.
  2. You may right click and download this poster template to use as a guide to develop your poster. This template follows the American College of Physicians (ACP) poster guidelines: Research Poster Template.
  3. The title and abstract should be identical to the one submitted on the symposium website.
  4. In order to fit on the poster board, the horizontal width of the poster should be no greater than 48” (4 feet). The vertical length can be variable, but should be no greater than 60” (5 feet).
  5. You are responsible for printing your poster, bringing the poster to the Symposium, and hanging your poster prior to the poster session.
  6. All poster presenters must agree to stand next to their poster during the poster session and be prepared to give a brief (5-10 min) presentation and answer questions. Posters will be judged and prizes will be awarded for outstanding posters.
  7. Posters will be open to the public during the conference.
  8. Your poster does not need to represent a completed body of work, and we encourage poster presenters to include works-in-progress.
  9. Posters will be judged according to several criteria. The evaluation form for judges is provided here: Poster Presentation Evaluation Form
